At Bekking & Blitz, it is not only about beautiful products, but also about a better world. That is why corporate social responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of everything we do. From the materials we use to the way we work with people and organisations, we always look beyond the end product.
Responsible business,
every dayAs a partner of MVO Nederland, we support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This means consciously working towards a future that is more sustainable, fair and inclusive. We also follow the OECD Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct.
Fair supply chains and
conscious choicesOur products are sourced from BSCI-certified suppliers. In doing so, we support good working conditions, fair wages, safe workplaces and the prevention of child and forced labour. This ensures that quality and responsibility go hand in hand.
Stronger
togetherWe work with various nature conservation and nonprofit organisations, including Amnesty International, Vogelbescherming Nederland, Natuurpunt Vlaanderen and the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals. By choosing products from these collections, you directly support a good cause. A purchase becomes more than a gift; it becomes a contribution to a better world.
Sustainability in
practiceSustainability is also reflected in our everyday choices. Leftover materials are given a second life as corporate gifts or in goodie bags, waste is carefully separated and recycled, and we minimise the use of plastic. We also choose FSC-certified paper, helping to support responsible forest management worldwide.
Smarter
travelOur field sales team drives electric vehicles, and we encourage sustainable mobility among our employees. Hybrid working also reduces travel and emissions. In addition, we are digitising more and more processes, including invoicing, administration and order processing.
Caring for
our peopleA sustainable organisation starts with the people who work there. That is why we invest in a safe, enjoyable and inclusive working environment. We offer opportunities to people who face barriers to employment and have worked for many years with the sheltered employment organisation in Alphen aan den Rijn to assemble our displays.
